Matt Damon Reveals Spoilers In Upcoming 'Justice League' Movie

Matt is getting ready for his big aquatic role by
training with US Navy SEALS.

Matt Damon has broken his silence about the new Justice League movie that is being directed by Zach Snyder, and slated to hit theaters in 2017. It is official: Matt will be playing Aquaman, the superhero of the Seven Seas and Lord of the Oceans. While discussing his upcoming role as one of the original founders of the Justice League, Matt had this to say,
Of course it's an honor to play one of the most versatile and well known super heroes. 71% of our planet's surface is covered by water. How long can Batman stay in his bat-submersible? Not too long. What I really like about the script is that Aquaman gets his own story line with a major plot twist.
Aquaman's secret identity is SpongeBob SqarePants.
Aqua-Bob and his friends
in Atlantis.
Matt went onto say that while Batman's secret identity is billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, Aquaman's is so much cooler.
SpongeBob SquarePants isn't some guy who's haunted by his parents' death, and lives in some castle far away from the common man. SpongeBob is a laughable, likable dude with neighbors, and a real job at the Krusty Krab.
The actor went on say that movie audiences shouldn't be surprised with the revelation of the Aquaman/SpongeBob relationship. After all, both live in the water, communicate with fish, and have pretty awesome sidekicks -- Aquaman has Aquaboy, and SpongeBob has Patrick, the Starfish.

Ben Affleck tries on his
 Mr Krabs costume.
Hollywood is abuzz with the news, and rumor has it that Ben Affleck has been asked to play every fanboy's favorite Aquaman/SpongeBob SquarePants villain: Black Manta who actually turns out to to be the owner of the Krusty Krab -- Mr Krabs.

Audiences will thrill to the climactic final battle between two where the fate of the world as well as the final revelation of the recipe for crabby patties are at stake.
